FELB Austria GmbH certified according to ISO 9001

Process optimization and synergies expected

At the end of January, FELB Austria GmbH completed the ISO certification (ISO 9001:2015) by Quality Austria. This enables the railway operator to continuously optimise its own processes and to structure them better.

The audit of the internal processes of FELB Austria contributes to a better understanding of the internal processes and to dovetailing them even better.  The resulting synergy effects lead to process optimisation of the railway operator’s multimodal logistics solutions. This benefits not only employees but also customers and service providers. All departments of the Vienna-based company were involved in the audit, which has been running since November 2021, with a focus on operations, sales, asset management, HR and IT.

Mrs. Linda Janauer – Project Manager and Organisational Development (FELB Austria GmbH) and Mr. Walter Kalcher, Auditor (Quality Austria).

“ISO 9001:2015 is the most important national and international quality management standard for companies. The insights gained from the audit serve to refine our processes and are naturally incorporated into internal structuring. Company goals can thus be achieved more efficiently and customers and partners better served,” explains Uwe Leuschner, CEO of FELB Austria GmbH. With the successful certification, FELB Austria GmbH also fulfils a wish of numerous customers who expect ISO certification from their suppliers and service providers.
