FELB: Martin Ziegler new Head of Sales at FELB

Vienna, 22 September 2022 – The railway operator FELB – Far East Land Bridge is further strengthening its management team. Martin Ziegler (58) takes up the position of Head of Sales with immediate effect.

The native Viennese has many years of experience in the logistics sector and, together with Alexander Redkin and Ruslan Marakhovskii, will support interim CEO Konstantin Teterin in managing the logistics company.

Martin Ziegler has a commercial education and has been working in logistics for over 35 years. He spent the longest time at Hapag-Lloyd Austria, where he started in Customer Service Austria and most recently held the position of Director Sales for eleven years. In this function he was responsible for Hapag-Lloyd’s sales activities in Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. His time at Hapag-Lloyd Austria was characterised by the development of numerous strategies to achieve budgets and measures to increase sales and profitability. His next stop was Logwin Air & Ocean Austria, where he was Key Account Manager. Subsequently, he was in charge of sales for the train connection between China and Europe at ICL Intermodal Container Logistics.

Martin Ziegler is well-versed in both new customer acquisition and the support of existing customers. At FELB he will focus on sales activities and analysis as well as strategic planning and will report to COO Alexander Redkin and work closely with him. “With Martin Ziegler, we are gaining a sales manager with a strong analytical mindset, combined with many years of experience, especially in the Eastern and Central European region,” emphasises COO Alexander Redkin.
