FELB restructures management level
Railway operator welcomes Alexander Redkin and Ruslan Marakhovskii
Vienna, 21st of June 2022 – The railway operator FELB – Far East Land Bridge is reorganising its management team. With immediate effect, Alexander Redkin (47) will take over the position of Chief Operating Officer and Ruslan Marakhovskii (42) will become the new Chief Financial Officer. Both have many years of experience in the logistics and financial sector and will lead the logistics company together with interim CEO Konstantin Teterin.
“Alexander Redkin and Ruslan Marakhovskii complement our new management level perfectly. Both bring outstanding skills, rich experience and expertise as well as the necessary passion,” explains Konstantin Teterin, Interim CEO of FELB Group. “They will help our team to refocus FELB and give fresh impetus to the company.”
Alexander Redkin has been the new Chief Operating Officer since 1 st of June 2022 and strengthens the management team of FELB Austria GmbH. As a specialist in the development and continuous improvement of supply chains, he will pay particular attention to operational efficiency in addition to managing the operating business and expanding global activities. As an experienced logistics and supply chain manager, he brings with him extensive expertise and many years of experience in the logistics industry.
Redkin has held management positions for more than twenty years. Most recently, he worked for various companies in the food, chemical and transport industries – mainly in Europe and Brazil. Here he has made a particular contribution to the conception and development of global supply chains and the strategic initiation of new business fields. Previously, he served amongst others as director of logistics company in Europe and showed responsibility as first officer on board of cargo vessels. The logistic expert studied supply chain management, logistics and procurement at the University of Salford, Manchester (UK) and engineering at Maritime University, Novorossiysk (Russia). As an internationally experienced person, Redkin speaks English, German, Russian, Lithuanian, Norwegian and Portuguese.
Ruslan Marakhovskii has been supporting the FELB Austria GmbH team since 1st of June 2022 as Chief Financial Officer. In this role, he is in charge of strategic finance and investment management and reports directly to CEO Konstantin Teterin. Marakhovskii is responsible for the areas of finance, controlling, IT, administration, human resources, risk management, internal control system and investor relations at the railway operator.
Marakhovskii holds an Executive MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (Netherlands) and an economic degree from the Higher School of Economics (Russia). For almost 20 years he was responsible for both the dedicated areas and the financial function as a whole. The economic expert has broad experience of managing finances in both different industries like agriculture, real estate construction, retail and wholesale trade and in finance institutions.
